Daily Pattern: Down with the Sickness

It's winter now and the dread disease to the Paper Bicycle office this year. Alyssa seems to have dodged the bullet (so far) but everyone else has gotten really, horribly ill in the past few weeks.

And not just a little sick. The kind of sick where all you can do is lie in bed, stare at the ceiling and silently beg for a merciful reprieve.

If you took a microscope to my desk looking for germs I'm sure you'd find this pattern (hint: the sickness is the green part).

Most of the time I like making patterns with food in them. I thought of a few ideas for a health-themed food pattern, but then remembered that taking care of your teeth after eating is another important part of keeping healthy.

Wow. Tonight was a late night. Chris, Francesca and I were up at the studio until 1-something in the morning working on a presentation for one of our favorite clients. It's been a while since we've had to do something like that, but it was super nice to have the company while we cut, taped, and spraymounted away in the wee hours of the morning.

Besides that, I wanted to do something a little relaxing tonight for my daily pattern. I have ALWAYS loved this symbol. I can rattle of a list of things I've gotten as gifts, things I've purchased, and things I've admired. As I thought of health, of course I'd think of the red cross. It's such a nice universal symbol of aid.
