Daily Pattern: Meteorology

Topic: storm

For a short period of time, I wanted to be a meteorologist. Not because I wanted to chase tornadoes or anything like that (I had peers in grade school who thought that's what being a meteorologist meant), but because I think there's something about weather that it's own set of magic. It involves physics and chemistry and mixes those things up perfectly.

Rain

“Where I live there are no storms and floods. That's why "storm" for me is rain rain rain... especially when the rain comes for few days. This is when you wake up and fall asleep under the monotonous sound of rain, do not go out, and drink tea with chocolate chip cookies every 20 minutes. If the electricity is not working, the next day seems as though it has been raining for a week.”

Daily Pattern: Rain Boots

My name is Marie. I live in Paris but I am from the south of France, from a city called the Pink city (Toulouse).
I am 26 years old and I am the mummy of a sweet sweet little girl. It is thanks to her that I started designing patterns!
I have launched my own swimwear brand with a friend (www.helluh.fr), and I am also a graphic designer for fashion and furniture.

When I read the topic "boots", I immediately thought of one of my favorite childhood cartoons, "Mimi Cracra". It's about a little girl who loves to jump in puddles!
So I started to design these boots jumping, picking flowers etc.
