Daily Pattern: Bodega

Topic: ditzy/calico

“This pattern is dedicated to all of the flowers in NYC that are dyed unnatural shades of turquoise, and sold at many of the delis - AKA bodegas - in every neighborhood in the city. Very strange to see but still very pretty in a vase on my coffee table!”

Daily Pattern: Tiny Circus

If you've ever been to a circus, you probably sat pretty far away so things that should be impressive come off as kind of small and distant.

Hence, a tiny circus. These should be those little teensy-tiny little useless stickers. You know the ones. The ones so small you can't get them off your finger once you take them off their non-stick paper.

When I first got the idea for this pattern, I was picturing tiny characters that resembled John Campbell's comics. Which was a bit too simple.

Making the characters was really fun. The hardest part: the horse (of course).
