Holiday Ornaments Weekend Monster style...

Hello to all you Paper Bicycle fans. When Lindsay told me about her paper toy holiday ornaments I couldn't resist! I decided to do double duty with Paper Bicycle ornaments and my own Weekend Monster! challenge...and what would the holiday season be without that classic, blue faced galoot, the Abominable Snow Monster of the North from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

For the monster I used the Teardrop ornament. I added in some arms and legs for a little extra kick.

For the car I used the Christmas Car ornament. I altered the dieline a little because I figured the "Bumble" would probably be more likely to cruis around in a big arctic snow cat with flames then a family sized car.

Daily Pattern: Dot Party...

When I first heard the challenge was "Dot" I was all "Sounds dumb..." Then I thought of those nasty candy dots that are stuck to paper that you peel off and eat. "What could make candy more exciting?" I wondered to myself. "I know! DANCE PARTY!" So here is my pattern.

Daily Pattern: Beboppin' Blue Birds...

So this is kind of an ode to Jim Flora and Disney, back in the Saludos Amigos days. I was also really inspired by Francesca's blue bird pattern. I had to make some blue birds of my own. While working on this my computer crashed and I had to remake the whole thing. Luckily for you this version is better than the first one.

Daily Pattern: Kids hands...

Here is another late entry for Daily Pattern. This was for Band-Aid. Kind of a gross topic, but it reminded me of when my brother and I were younger we once got on this kick of seeing who could have the most band-aids on at once. The challenge was it had to be for an actual cut. So like the intelligent kid I was, I immediately ran out and started doing all kinds of dangerous things that would cut my hands up. I think I got up to 7 band-aids before my mom caught on to what we were doing and made us stop...but I won! :)

Daily Pattern: Sad but true...

Daily Pattern: My Besty Birdy...

What can one say about Dean, that dude loved blueberries...and hated grapefruit. I loved it when he turned into a pink tennis ball and when he would try to chirp louder than everyone else who was talking. The best, and saddest was when he had the worlds tiniest cast on his foot. Dean you are my second favorite of the Nohl/Hajny pet clan. Hopefully you are in a better place now full of blueberries and where there's no Oliver...because Oliver is dumb and the worst.

So since I don't work for PB I'm assuming I don't have to follow the rules around deadlines...so here is my "Bear" pattern.

Francesca!! It's like your birthday and Christmas morning had a baby and that day is today!! Behold my One Piece/ Treasure Hunt themed pattern. Now study it closely so you can spend all day tomorrow explaining to Chris and Lindsay what it all means.

We went out for dinner with out good friend Adam Hoppus tonight. While we were eating, I was sketching some Easter Eggs for today's pattern.

Adam was throwing out ideas and he must have gotten so inspired that he went home and made his own!
