Daily Pattern: The Long Overdue Bubble Tea Pattern

topic: luxury

A smart person once told me that you know you're doing okay if (without anxiety) you can buy a bubble tea whenever you want. I still think that's the best measuring stick for the amount of wealth a person needs to be content. Maybe now bubble tea is replaced with regular old person tea, or an espresso drink every now and again, but it still makes me feel like I'm livin' the good life.

Daily Pattern: Favorite teapot

Tea is on my list of top ten favorite things. I will vouch for validity in putting on a kettle if you're feeling a little down.
For Christmas a little while back I asked for a cast iron teapot from my parents, and now it's the best most frequently used thing in my kitchen. After I obtain one of those Beehouse pots I think my next teapot will have to be the little yellow guy in this pattern: a yixing teapot.

Daily Pattern : Teatime

If Lindsay and Alyssa have sister patterns for the teapot topic, Fran Court's teapot pattern and mine may be cousins. Here are some things you need to make that beverage of beverages. Or as some like to say, "the gentlemen's drink".

Daily Pattern: For the Kids

The first time I had a cocktail was at the first wedding reception my sister and I had ever been to. We were around 8 or 9, so I'm using the word "cocktail" pretty loosely. Shirley Temples count, though! We were really excited when we discovered that we could get drinks if we asked the bartender.
