Cowboys were my younger brother's first obsession. He had the hat, the toy metal gun, holster, bandannas (borrowed from my dad's handkerchiefs), little plastic cowboy guys, and lincoln logs (essential for building forts for cowboy guys). Here's to you, bro.

Daily Pattern: Good Ol' Fashioned Fun

My parents have one of these old sleds at their house. I was spoiled with inner tubes as a child, so I can't imagine what it would be like using one of these metal and wood models. Still, sledding is one of those things that never stops being fun.

Daily Pattern: Screw

If I ever have to use screws in a project, odds are I can calculate how many holes there will be at the end of the project by using a little math. For instance, if I need to screw in one screw, it will probably take at least three trial-and-error holes before getting it right. So if I need to screw in four screws, I'll end up with about sixteen holes. Not so good for 3D projects, but it worked out fine for this 2D one.
