Daily Pattern: Spa

My main experience with spa-life is visiting some geothermal spas in Iceland, like the Blue Lagoon. The way the water seems to almost glow against the black rock is pretty striking.

So here's a little tribute to those wonderful times of swimming in water that smells like rotten eggs. In a good way.

So I started a whole bunch of patterns which I wasn't pleased with, until I went with something totally wacky and cute.

Spas make me think of lavender massage or aromatherapy oil, so here's yet another floral. It's also reminiscent of Chris's bone pattern; I'm sure I'm drawing influence from all over the place.

I love these river rocks!

I am sitting in the Apple store, waiting for the genius bar to fix my lap top.
What a day to have technical troubles! My computer is screeching every half hour, freezing and then dying. Wish me luck! I hope this problem gets fixed soon! In the meantime I'll be wishing I was at the spa.

Daily Pattern - Spa

Because I'm an hour ahead (Eastern Standard Time) and I don't work a full time job, I guess I'll post my daily pattern first! Today's theme was 'Spa' so I thought I'd make a pattern that includes all the pampering and relaxation a day at the spa would bring. I decided to give the pattern a light, soothing palette, and if you smell really close you'll get just a hint of lavender and camomile - that's the aromatherapy at work (I wish). Enjoy!
