Alan Wolfson

The only thing that I can find more beautiful than intricate, characterful-yet-accurate drawings of buildings is tiny, characterful-yet-accurate scale models of buildings. Alan Wolfson has been creating tiny city models for longer than I have existed, and my awe and wonder upon discovering them has compelled me to share these marvelous creations. The images below are from his latest piece. Not only did he recreate New York's Canal St, but he recreated the subway system beneath.

His site has tons of larger photos so you can pore over their glorious splendor.
