Motohiko Odani

Motohiko Odani is a celebrated Japanese sculptor who makes fantastically bizarre and beautiful sculptures.







I love it; otherworldly but still distinctly Japanese.

He currently has a solo show at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo called Phantom Limb. I'd be amazing to see it in person.

JKB Fletcher

I don't know much about JKB Fletcher; his website is currently unavailable and his behance page doesn't give much info.

What I do know is that I'd love to see his hyperrealistic oil paintings in person, because they're totally unbelievable!







I'm glad he posted a picture of himself painting, otherwise I would have assumed we was a photographer who mislabeled his media!

Beautiful Settings

I'm afraid I don't know who this artist is, or how he or she makes these images, but the use of color and texture is super fine.

Helmut Smits

Helmut Smits is a clever guy. He's all about ideas and his work just makes you smile. He's so full of ideas, in fact, that there's a section of his site dedicated to rough ideas for projects that he just hasn't got around to yet (and maybe never will).

It's often not only the image itself, but also the title or description of materials that transforms what you're looking at.
