Shi Yuan has applied heat-reactive materials to interior design. Calendars and wallpaper mostly, and since we're on a wallpaper kick, this is a pretty neat concept.
Without heat:![heatwallpaper2](http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5289/5280281911_fbe883f581_o.jpg)
With the heat from the radiator:![heatwallpaper_1](http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5170/5280885496_a4d0e81151_o.jpg)
The blossoms have three states–closed, partially open and open–depending on how warm the surface of the paper is.
This is totally awesome!
ReplyDeleteI want this! AND i want radiators!!!
This also seems dangerous to put behind wherever the dogs sleep...
I'd probably end up setting fire to my walls...
