Daily Pattern - Growing up on Friendship Bracelets

I can't be the only person in the world that grew up making a million and one friendship bracelets. I remember clipping the top of a new bracelet to the top ring of my trapper keeper and furiously knotting away. I even figured out how to do the amazing "arrow" patterned bracelet! I wore all of these with pride, even when they got ratty and covered in grime.

In high school, my bracelet wearing climaxed to maximum proportions. I sustained armfuls of bracelets of all sorts through college(jellies, woven bracelets, leather bracelets... ) up until I got my first corporate job. I remember the tan lines after a long summer of wearing them and the feeling of them when they were wet. Ah, the memories. I still sport more bracelets than most. My mom always says less is more, but I think more is probably still... more.

  2. Fantastic colors on this. I remember making those stupid things. I only knew one braiding style though.

  3. They are so easy to make, and can adjust from normal adult size wrists to child size wrists. My daughter Faith and I can both wear the same bracelets. :)
