“Nice is a difficult word to define, much less illustrate...so I thought about all of the other words we use that can mean nice, and while looking through the sketchbook I was jotting them down in, I noticed that I draw a lot of happy, goofy people who would have nice hair if they were real. I kept it 2-color because my sketchbooks are usually just pen and ink. I like to think that all of the people in my pattern are nice people!”
